Storyboard Embedded Engine now supports the Android™ platform. With this added support Crank customers will have access to a very popular platform that seems to becoming a major player in the mobile and tablet markets. One of the key benefits this brings to developers is that they do not require low level Android™ coding knowledge. The Storyboard Embedded Engine provides NDK (native development kit) performance without customers having to know the ins and outs of the Android™ NDK. Customers only need to develop as they normally would for Storyboard because now Storyboard Designer has the option to export to Android™ that automatically creates a signed .apk package to be deployed to the Android™ target.
