    Job Post: Business Development Representative

    We are growing our Sales team at Crank Software and adding a Business Development Representative to work in close cooperation with the outside sales and Marketing team. You will be responsible for following up and qualifying leads while identifying new business or sales opportunities for Crank Software’s products and services. This position is right for you if you have an ability to identify and develop new customer leads, prepare action plans, and drive qualified meetings for the Sales team. You bring a proven inside sales background, ideally with knowledge of the IT industry, and are goal-oriented, self-motivated, and passionate about your profession. The successful candidate will be a driven, persistent, and hands-on individual who thrives on client interactions and is not easily discouraged. Combining a passion for new technology with top-of-the-line communication skills, you will drive sales initiatives and grow business for Crank Software’s unparalleled software product and services.     Key Responsibilities:


    • Maintain regular communication with existing and new clients via telephone, email and/or social media.
    • Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads and outbound cold calls and emails.
    • Contact prospective clients to generate interest in Crank Software’s products and services.
    • Qualify leads, as well as prospect into ideal prospective companies.
    • Drive pipeline growth by scheduling qualified meetings for the Sales Team.
    • Research accounts, identify key contacts and the potential fit for Crank Software’s products or services as a context that maximizes the effectiveness of cold calling.
    • Develop action plans to pursue leads; follow up on prospects.
    • Manage, monitor and leverage reports using Crank’s CRM (HubSpot) functionality with a systematic approach to ensure diligent follow up, lead tracking and pipeline visibility.
    • Participate in weekly meetings and articulate market feedback.
    • Attend sales trade shows occasionally.

    Requirements:


    • At least 2 years experience in customer service and client interfacing role.
    • Knowledge of software and/or hardware products is a definite asset.
    • Ability/experience working seamlessly as part of a larger team - sales, marketing, professional services and R&D.
    • Ability to deliver strong telephone cold calling and prospecting skills.
    • Demonstrated qualification, closing & negotiation skills; ability to qualify and prioritize high potential opportunities.
    • Professional image and style in written and verbal communications.
    • Cultural awareness when dealing with clients in other regions.
    • Experience working with HubSpot or other CRM software is an asset.
