individual PNGs saved from PhotoShop do not show up

Postby DaveC426913 » Fri Jul 02, 2010 2:58 pm

Unless I am misunderstanding, the process of flattening my PSD and prepping it for Import into StoryBoard is cumbersome; even the smallest edit (such as resizing a button) requires opening my working PSD, making the change, then flattening all my layers to save the file out as my prepped PSD. So, I'll probably stick with editing and exporting individual graphic elements.

So: I've made the change to my discrete graphical element in PS and now I save it out that element out as a PNG. When I try to pull it into a Control, it's blank. It shows up correctly in the Image Selection Image Preview, when by the time it gets into my Control, it's blank.

I tried both PNG-8 and PNG-24 formats. What am I doing wrong?

Hello Dave

Can you send me that individual PNG image?

Thanks,

Actually, no I can't. In continuing to experiment, I've managed to mess up the Import procedure. When I save out my PSD, then try to Import it into SB, that element no is longer produced. It does not show up in the folder when I look for it.

I will send you the PSD.

That's cool. I'll take a look at the PSD, and let you know what I find.

Problem solved.

PhotoShop Export was defaulting to Convert to sRGB. When I uncheck this feature before saving out my PNG, it imports just fine.
